To make our homes, workplaces, streets, travel & public places safer for our sisters, daughters, mothers, colleagues, neighbours & friends by collaborating with inspiring men through responsible and meaningful projects.
The Clothes Don’t Maketh The Man program is an initiative aimed at creating a safer environment for women. The program recognizes the fact that women face numerous challenges and dangers in their day-to-day lives, and it aims to address this issue by collaborating with inspiring men through responsible and meaningful projects.
The program’s vision is to make homes, workplaces, streets, travel, and public places safer for women by creating awareness, changing mindsets, and promoting responsible behaviour through and among men. By working with men who are committed to creating a better world around us, the program hopes to bring about a cultural shift that will make it unacceptable to tolerate or perpetrate any form of violence or harassment against women.
CDMTM recognises the importance of collective action in creating change. It encourages men to be allies and advocates for women’s rights and to take responsibility for creating a safer environment. The program is an effort to promote gender equality and create a safer world for everyone. It offers a holistic approach to tackling the problem of violence against women and encourages men to play an active role in creating a more inclusive respectful, kind and just society.
